Suboxone/Buprenorphine is taken by mouth or dissolved under the tongue.

How is Suboxone/Buprenorphine used?

Suboxone/Buprenorphine dosage is based on the medical condition and response to treatment. A doctor will adjust the dose until there are no symptoms of withdrawal.

What are the risks? 

Individuals who abuse Suboxone/Burprenorphine may have withdrawal reactions if it has been used regularly for a long time or in high doses. In such cases, withdrawal symptoms (such as diarrhea, restlessness, watering eyes, runny nose, nausea, sweating, muscle aches) may occur if this medication is suddenly stopped.
